Elap Engineering was founded in the 1970’s from a small workshop in Accrington and was the first company in the world to develop the rotating car seat concept, which enjoyed patent protection for many years. The rotating car seat is an ideal solution, enabling you to get in and out of your vehicle with dignity and ease. Since then, Elap has grown continuously and offers a wide range of products and services, from the installation of simple push/pull hand controls to the complex home conversions.
Today, Elap have a purpose built 25,000 sq foot manufacturing facility in the centre Accrington employing over 30 skilled individuals, from product advisors to manufacturing technicians.
